Alhamdulillah. Syukur beribu syukur, seminggu ini adalah official last week
saya belajar di Belanda. Two graduation ceremonies hadir sebagai bumbu
‘penyedap’ and a finish line mark, hence this graduation will stay in memori
saya, seumur hidup.

To be honest, saya dulu sudah punya cita2 untuk sekolah abroad, when I
was at my second year of SMU. Wkt itu, saya sempat ada plan for studying
in Aussy right after graduating from my SMU. But then, fate berkata lain.
Saya was given a chance to go to ITB. Yes, Information Technology course
which is jurusan paling top, paling tinggi passing grade ny, dan paling
diidamkan oleh para kawula muda (halah2).

Masuk ke ITB didn’t make my dream of studying abroad fade away. Saya tetap
giat mencari informasi about any chance to study in other countries. Bagi saya,
it’s okay if I have to spend more time in finishing my study for the sake of
belajar di luar negeri. Saya ingin pengalaman itu.

And there you go. Here I am, standing in Europe. Saya joined a program named
Existente (Excellent International Students Entering Technical Education).
Singkat cerita, program ini allows me to gain a double degrees in Sarjana which
come from ITB and one of Universitas di Belanda. Dan sekarang, status saya
adalah separuh finished. My name is "Ing. Ryan Sosiawan" at this moment.

Well, let’s wrap up the story and go back to the graduation topic. Seperti
saya katakan di awal, 2 graduation ceremonies were held a couple days ago.
Acara pertama diadakan di a Dutch university where I went to, InHolland
University, on last Tuesday. Dan berikut adalah some visual records on that
day.

Yup, that’s all untuk selebrasi di InHolland. Jauh dari kemeriahan namun
berkesan.

Next up is the graduation ceremony in The Hague. Here, semua pelajar
to receive a greeting from para petinggi/ panitia Existente program and
to take a picture together in Toga suit.

Berikut adalah beberapa gambar of men and women in Toga

Atas karunia-
Nya, saya dapat meraih salah satu mimpi saya. Terima kasih juga untuk
keluarga dan teman-teman who always stay behind me and support me
through tough times.

Tetapi misi saya belum totally acomplished.
tertunda (ap lagi ditambah kata2 ’studi’, makin mualesh mikirinny..).
"I’ll keep doing my best, then.", that’s what I gotta say.

P. S.:
More photos of Me (who cares) and the others can be viewed here.
And also, thanks to Febri untuk fotonya ^ ^

No more [@De-Arbodienst]. For those who still have no idea of what the hell
is that, it’s name of a company. De Arbodienst, a typical Dutch company. I had my 5
months period spent there for doing what-so-called a project (and for putting this
post’s title as my Y!id status). Seems interesting? Nah, not at all. Seems boring? yeah,
indeed. (joke guys, it’s a joke..)

At first impression, Girls. Yes, there were just too many girls in the office. Especially
those interns (I was also an intern back then, anyway). Happy? Hmmm, not really.
Why? Hmm, since they speak Dutch (So what??). Well, the language thingy was
a little bit troublesome. Not because they can’t speak English (they all have pretty
good English), but there’s still somethin which made me a little bit awkward in talking
to them, and it’s pretty hard to tell. (Err, wait, how come it has anything to do with
those girls?)

Apparently, there’s a thing, a big thing, that I learnt. ‘Initiative’ is the word. It’s not
only being creative in drawing an idea out of your head, but it means more. You have
to be more active (hyperactive is much better) in your tasks, so there’ll be a signal of
your big presence before their eyes. There will be no person who asks you to do this
and that or even asks you to show the results. Do it yourself, manage it yourself,
and then show them. Yes, they don’t ask those things, but they’re expecting them.
Strange huh? But it’s sadly true.

But it’s good. Every experience is good (sigh emoticon). I got ‘too’ much to learn. And now,
it’s all done. Every start has its end (woohoooo……!!). Five months have passed,
and I gotta leave those bunch of people. Happy? Hmm, take it as a yes. Sad? Hmm,
not really, but there should be somethin that I would miss.

So people, please allow me to say somethin for you:

Pim and Gerrit (the Bosses):
You 2 guys really have a typical posture of a boss. You know, big guy, big stomach,
big voice, fat ass (mwahaha, no offense sir. Fire me? So what, I’m out already emoticon).
But thx anyway for letting me join your group for the past few months. It was fun
(lie, lie, lie, it’s all a lie..)
.

Virginia (secretary):

Now I realize why people keep calling you ‘the old Witch’, since in fact you look like
one. But don’t worry, it’s pretty common that a secretary takes a lead on top of
her boss, right..?? (You know what, once I searched your name on Google, and it
showed me a list of Miss Netherlands Contestants in 1998. Is that true..??)

Danielle (HRD manager):

I would say, you are the prettiest woman in the office. I’m gonna miss those blue eyes,
brunette hair, and your beautiful voice. But what to do, you’re thirty-somethin with a
daughter already emoticon.

Sylvana (front desk):

"Sylvana, hoe gaat het? Alles goed..?" Ow, did I pay you already for the last row
lunch? (I hope I did. If not, ssst, please don’t tell the boss emoticon)

Louisa (front desk):

A forty-somethin mom with a precious capability in so many languages. Louisa,
please teach me that Spanish that you just said :( . And anyway, I was pretty
suprised knowing that your son born on the same date as me. Hmm, maybe that’s
why you treat me as your own (oh come on, it has nothing to do with that).

Marla (administration):

Here is the thing. She is an Indonesian, but she doesn’t speak any Bahasa. One
of the thing that annoyed me was the way you laughed, Marla. Omg, I thought it
was like pig’s voice (’groock, groock, groock!!’ emoticon). But still, the office needs a
cheerful, hyperactive, and a bit crazy woman like you.

Jeroen and Barbara (internal affairs):

Hmmh, the tallest man and woman. No further comments.

Caro (dietician):

I treat you as my own older sister. Thx for cooperating with me and supporting
me when I was busy with my project. I would miss your funny nose beating while
you’re thinking (beating? yess, that’s true..). But I was wondering, are you married
already? Well, just asking, nothing more.

Werner (programmer):

Well, well, well, my supervisor. Let me tell you this, "You Are Not a Nice Person" emoticon.
Damn, it could have been an ‘A’ if you said somethin nicer to my teacher.
But then, well, who cares about the grade. Thanks for the guidance during my stay
in the company. And, are you going to get yourself that new MacBook or not? I still
have my student status until the end of August, if you want.

These are the surroundings of where I worked (well, I liked the room pretty much actually)

And, these are the examples of Dutch species (except the one in the middle).

Lama dah g maen bola (lama g nulis blog jg -g nyambung-), akhirny sabtu kemarin maen jg.
Plus, pengalaman pertama maen bola di luar negeri. Hua ha ha ha..!!! (trus knapa??)

Yeah, still, football is fun. Meski badan baru 2 menit maen dah ngosh2an, tp hati tetap
senang emoticon. Ya maklum, dah lama ndak olahraga ‘berat’ gara2 full internship semester
ini. So, let’s just start the story emoticon

Secara pertandingan berlangsung di ‘desa’ Utrecht (he he, no offense emoticon), dan jam 9 pula, jadilah
kita berangkat paghi2 dr ‘asrama’ Bergwijkdreef tercinta (hoi, cinta g kalian..??). Tentuny, sebagai
para banci foto, kita ambil sesi pemotretan sejenak. Berikut hasilnya emoticonBergwijkdreef Straat

-zzzzzrrrtrrttttt…!!! Tiba2 dah sampe Utrecht ceritanya-
Yak, akhirny kita sampai di lap foetsal (klo dieja Belanda kek gt bukan siy?) yg konon bernama
‘Olympos’. Nih, rupa lap ny: Olympos cukup luas toch? emoticon.

Selanjutny, pertandinganpun mulai. Yah, kita maenny rame2an en sante2an aj. Asal have fun lah (tp sebel

Lho? Apa bedanya?
Jd gini, maenny lapangan penuh dah beres due to kecapekan. But, kaki kita ternyata masi pada nafsu sama bola.
Acara tendang2an ini semakin ‘panas’ mengingat adany kamera ‘profesional nan keren bin mahal’ puny bang Febri yg siap mendokumentasikan.
Hasilny, there are so many types of kicking style. Berikut contohny:

gaya ‘Puma’ (ngerti lah ya maksudny..): Ryan Puma

gaya ‘E-Do’raemon (jangan sala, bolany kenceng tu): Edoemon

gaya ‘ray_and_giggs’ (no comment d):
ray_and_giggs

gaya ’sok mlintir’ (aniwei, itu bolany masuk lhoo, yaa, mlintir dikit laaa emoticon): mlintir

gaya barebas (mana sot, umpanny g keluar kemarin.. emoticon):
barebas

gaya ‘Ndut’ (santai, g keliatan ndut kok di sini emoticon): panda

Ini yg paling keren, gaya ‘100′ (hei, maen bola pake tangan hei..! -lho??-): Maen bola g pake tangan

Yak, akhirny selese jg acara. Badan cape seh, tp seneng, krn mang dah lama g maen bola emoticon.
Hari pun diakhiri dengan foto bersama di depan sporthal: in front of Olympus, Utrecht

Thanks to:
- Febri, atas foto2ny
- anak2 Utrecht, atas lapanganny (walau lap jg bukan punya kalian emoticon)
- dan sepatu Puma-ku, atas peluang2nya (g ada yg gol.. emoticon)

Kapan2 lg mari kita maen. Enak tuh buat refreshing dr project yg g karu2an emoticon.

Alloww temen-temen emoticon.

So, aku berbagi cerita saja mulai dari keberangkatan (tanggal 27) kemarin sampai

Banyak temen2 yg kudu
ditinggal barang bawaannya (g terkecuali botol minum aqua emoticon).

(maklum, br pertama kali naek SQ emoticon).

Buuusss….!!!!. Suhu udara luar ternyata
19 derajat Celcius..!! Padahal masih summer, gmn musim dinginny coba emoticon.

dugaan, internetnya kenceng..!! emoticon.

Rata2 mereka beli dg harga 20-50 Euro (kalikan 13rb rupiah aj emoticon). Yah, masih lumayan lah dapet sepeda second
yg masih fine condition.

"Red Light District"-nya emoticon.
kurang menarik. Tapi begitu menjelang malam, emoticon, kita jadi makin betah muter2 area situ sampe hapal
daerah mana yg sedia produk asia, teenage, atopun tante2 emoticon.

Tp g enaknya, musti buka jendela kamar biar sinyalnya kuat emoticon.
Sinyal siy jd kuat, tp badannya yg g kuat kena anginny emoticon.

Fell free to contact  me yah  (tp pulsanya g free, bisa  sampe 4 euro  buat sms doang ternyata
kata temen cuman 600 perak emoticon).
